Objective
At the request of Shatro Engineering, acting as the general contractor, our company carried out a comprehensive automation project for an office space in one of the facilities at the “Oval” Business Center in Limassol.
Our objective was to implement a modern, reliable, and scalable system for managing the building’s engineering systems—primarily lighting and blinds.
Solution
The core technology chosen for automation was KNX—an open international protocol that offers broad integration capabilities and a high level of adaptability to user needs.
In addition, support for dimmable lighting groups via the DALI protocol was implemented, allowing for highly flexible and comfortable lighting control.
Implementation
We completed the full project cycle, including:
- Selection of the technical solution
- Preparation of project documentation
- Coordination with the client’s representatives
- Implementation and system commissioning
- Preparation of final operating documentation
The project utilized Zennio equipment, which is fully compatible with KNX and meets high standards of functionality and reliability.
System control is carried out via both touch multimedia panels and physical switches, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly operation.
Result
The result was the deployment of an intelligent lighting and blinds control system that fully met the client’s expectations. The solution enhanced user comfort, improved the space’s energy efficiency, and allowed for flexible system scalability in the future.
